CUSTOM WORKWEAR

We have an obsession with vintage industrial sewing machines. Our collection includes a rare Union Special Jeans felling machine. This and several other speciality machines allow us the finishing options coveted in workwear clothing such as custom jeans and chambray shirts with selvage details.

In combination with our tailoring capabilities, the specialized equipment allows us to offer a rare custom experience. Every piece is made just for you with no limits on the pattern, the cut, the design or the fabric selection. We can fit all body types regardless of gender.

We special order selvage cloth options made in the USA, Japan and Italy, as well as selvage chambray shirting options. We want to provide you with the best possible experience and a piece that fits like a glove. In order to make this happen, we feel it is of utmost importance that the individual taking your measurements and fitting your piece is the one responsible for drafting and cutting your piece.

Workwear is usually finished with felled seams. For this reason, your first fitting is a “muslin,” or a mock-up of your piece in a test fabric so details and fit can be adjusted. This appointment is when we can pick buttons and other trims.

A second, final fitting will be with the finished piece in your fabric choice.
