Thank you @marknowacz for bringing us such a wonderful collaboration and connecting us with other local makers. This chore jacket was a labour of love and is truly a 100 mile piece. The wool comes from #norbouillet #sheep raised just outside Peterborough. The yarn was spun just outside of Elora at #wellintonfibres. This week’s #tailoredtipple is a Bourbon Smash ¾ oz simple syrup ¾ oz lemon juice 4 mint leaves + some for garnish 2 oz Bourbon Add the simple Syrup, lemon juice and mint leaves to a shaker and muddle. Add Bourbon and fill with ice. Shake until frosty. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with extra mint leaves. Happy Friday! Keeping with the #tuxedo theme. This weeks #tailoredtipple is a Tuxedo no. 2 2 oz Gin 1 1/2 ox dry vermouth 1 dash Maraschino 1 dash Absinthe 2 dashes orange bitter Add all of the ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until frosty. Strain into a coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist and a cherry. Enjoy.
